The Russian-Canadian Rusoro Mining joined the list of private companies requested international arbitration against Venezuela to ICSID, failing to materialize an agreement with the Government over the nationalization of its assets in the country.
In the ICSID Venezuela faces a dozen lawsuits up to 45,000 million dollars.
The more expensive arbitrations facing the country are petroleum, but also includes the Canadian mining Crystallex, Gold Reserve and Vanessa Ventures, which require, together, some 6,000 million for the revocation of its gold projects.
The most expensive arbitration is facing ConocoPhillips Venezuela, with an aspiration for compensation of 31,000 million for the nationalization of two projects.
In the case of ExxonMobil came in late last year, a ruling by the International Chamber of Commerce ordered PDVSA to pay 907.58 million dollars to the oil. After several discounts, Pdvsa paid only 255 million.
Venezuela has said it will make no additional payment, but the case still pending before the ICSID.
