I share your pain, but other than this POS, I have “so far” been lucky with Latin America,(at least since the most recent crash) but all mine are ADRs or mutuals, and a large percentage of my exposure is off shore.

COPA Air up 88% since 2008 (including dividends, but was over 100%), Fidelity Latin American 37% (Mex , Ven, Brazil, Chile, & Colombia), New Markets Income 43% since 2006 (Peru, Ven, Colombia, Mexico, & Brazil), Southern Peruvian Copper, has been bouncing around, but was up about 10 a couple weeks ago.

But I took a bath with Brazil's GOL Airline a couple years ago after a nasty crash.
