If Hugo dies soon, which is very possible.......(he's been taking so many drugs to keep himself from loosing weight, that he now looks like the Phiisbury dough boy, and it will not take much to 'pop that balloon').........then there will obviously be a period of turmoil. In fighting must already be taking place. What happens on the street could be very interesting when the man that has been the absolute centre of attention and 'drunk' driver of the crazy car dies 'suddenly', is anyones guess. However, there might very well be enough time before the election, for sanity to prevail.
It's possible that leaders will slap themselves on the side of their heads, and say 'duh!', if we want to get an econmy going to back up our oil, and get people working, then we HAVE to get the gold industry going, and we do not have the capabilities ourselves. And, if we want to get it happen within the foreseeable future, then Crystallex is the only way to do that for Las Cristinas..........One big pounding headache could be gone, and a huge industry could be geared up, and VZ could focus on other areas. Sorta like washing their hands of a huge messy problem at the same time as starting to get the economy back on track.
I know, we've gone through all this before....but with Hugo gone, there is a real possibility that enough sane heads will get together, and put a stop to the spiralling crazyness that is Hugo's legacy. Of course, there are many areas of the economy etc that have to be dealt with, and patterns reversed, and it's not all the work of Hugo. All I'm saying is that I think there's a glimmer of hope that those coming into power will see that reinstating Crystallex's rights, and giving them the necessary permits, would solve one of VZ's huge problems, and lessen the burden on the new leaders, while showing a willingness to get their people back to work.
We all know crazier things have happened there.........a lot crazier.
Soon.....Crazy will be gone...and we can all drink to that.
