The workforce and the leadership of the General Mining Company Venezuela (CVG-Minerven) perform workshops to discuss implementation of a strategic plan so as to increase the production of gold processing plant.
Through a press release, Minister for Basic Industries and Mining José Khan, said that this action is aimed at promoting the development of mining activities to diversify the economy and develop alternatives to oil exploration.
For its part, the operations manager of Minerva, Alonso Peña said that these meetings evaluating the functioning and requirements of the plants which will implement the plan.
He also reported that until the end of 2011 is a guaranteed supply of inputs-such as cyanide, lime, zinc dust and holes, allowing "that plants and Peru Caratal (Bolivar state) to obtain a recovery of 75% and 73% respectively ".
Minister Khan recalled that last week completed the cancellation retroactive 50% was owed to state workers in the 2227 gold.
Minerven anticipates reaching the end of 2011 a production of 1.2 tons of gold.
