the NA will undoubtedly give permission for hugo to remain in power in cuba..but....there's going to be a huge push for hugo to release details of his condition. unless hugo's condition is much better than everybody thinks my bet is that he will be out of power before the 2012 elections.

- there's a growing animosity toward china/russia and cuba in ven right now.

- ven is facing huge economic problems at home and huge international arb debt soon

- the china/russia funds are already spoken for/spent

- vennies are watching thier neighbor brazil boom like there's no tommorrow with a more moderate/capitalist model.

i said this a long time ago but now it seems much clearer to me..imo, hugo's entire regime will be replaced with a more moderate govt over the next couple years. the IMF will actually end up loaning ven the money they will need to pay imf/world bank arb settlements.
