Citic has done infrastructure projects with CRRC in the past (I think one was in Russia) and has done its own gold mining projects in China I think (I posted this a couple of months back). Citic is big into housing development in Venezuela. During the course of my last phone conversation with Fung when I mentioned the possibility of China screwing KRY by utilizing another state company to develop Las Cristinas....and I specifically mentioned Citic.....Fung said that he had a good relationship with people at CRRC and dismissed the idea.
