No one seems to have an opinion on this question: What are KRY's chances for bankruptcy, so I posed that question to my broker. It's not that I trust his judgement 100%, since he's the one who told me to get into KRY and continue to hold on, but his was his assessment-

"KRY has a high probability of filing for bankruptcy."

He said he believes this to be the reality based on several factors.

First, historically: any company that has fallen as far as KRY, to near single digit status, finds it virtually impossible to find financing and climb out of that hole, especially if that company keeps the same management and/or doesn't reinvent itself into another kind of company.

Second, some of the bond holders are getting aggressive, (the non-transparent KRY is not saying how many of the bond holders are getting aggressive) and pushing to cash out now at a loss. That is not a good sign.

Third, it's one thing to get someone to loan you 10-20 million dollars, it's quite another to get 100 million.

Fourth, there is a strong suspicion that even if KRY were to win an arbitration that Ven would ever pay up, or pay up the full amount without stalling for many years.
