Former miner Crystallex International has been essentially destroyed by the nationalization of its Las Cristinas gold mine in 2008 by Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez administration.

They can't nationalize the mine....they already own it. Sheesh!

Obscure Footnote: That didn't keep them from essentially destroying Crystallex. What a shrewd move it was to delay filing arbitration 3 years ago.
