The mining leader William Saud was put under an operation of open heart east Monday. He entered the operating room of the University Clinical Hospital to the 6:00 in the morning and left near the 4:00 afternoon.
The four to him surgeons placed bypass in the heart to Saud, according to information of the Universal one.
After being removed from the operating room, Saud was committed in intensive therapy, where it will be during three days. To the mining leader a humanitarian benefit by the Room of Penal Annulment of the Supreme Court of Justice was granted to him, because it was fulfilling a sentence of six years.
Saud was accused to lead a protest, along with Carlos Chancellor, of a group of miners who denounced contract breach on the part of the transnational Crystallex. The fact happened in September of 2005 in the Claritas, to the south of the state Bolivar. As much Saud as Chancellor was sentenced to prison.
