KRY gaps up to open. Technicals still a mess. Seem to be holding steady above the 14MA. However, the 14MA is in a downtrend so no good news there.

S&P flat at this time. Had a bit of a pop to open. Maybe the Market is ignoring Libya today. Or, just plain had enough of Libya and realizes that some things are just not connected to foreign conflict. Although, pretty much all other (foreign) Markets down overnight. Maybe the US Market will reverse the trends. Jobless claims down, durable goods up, new home sales expected to drop (no surprise, and look out for those Alt-A and Option ARM's that still loom in the shadows) and housing price index to be announced in afewmoments, at 10am eastern. Mixture of green and red, kinda like yesterday - but in a slightly better way today. Bulls getting back in the game after being scared off by Libya, and today's Bullish reports and news may help turn the trends. Market is fickle. Be careful. Be diversified.

Gold still running, but coming back to earth. Profit taking happening at open on NYMEX this morning. Overnight, HongKong sold off while London bought in.
