One of my very large clients (when I was king), came to me to bitch about the added insurance costs levied by CIBC on a very major deal in Venezuela. this after this company conducted business in Ven for 20+ years...

anyways, the point of the story is -- I USED TO BE KING.... just kidding....

It was a well known fact 13 years ago..... so, who ever did their due dilly would of and should have known that.....

I thought, we were the favourite son of Venezuela and helping them build a mining infrastructure, and houses, and water filtration plants, and hospitals... oh my! All my research indicated that we were and all would be great... surprize, surprize, surprize... here we are in 2011 kind of messed up from what I can see... but, I am sure there is a missing piece of the puzzle that will make this make sence.
