Great post EZ and your first paragraph is possibly the toughest I've seen you on management in a while. For my own part luckily I'm no where near the windowsill and my pitchforks are virtual only. Panic to me implies fear and fortunately my share count isn't high enough to be scared. Lets hope those that are in panic mode are treated with some consideration by management (to the best they can). My anger on the other hand will be real but short of storming any buildings. Sharpest thing I'll be carrying is my tongue.
