you're right lopez! the US should close it's borders, stop all imports, nationalize all foreign debt and tell the rest of the world to go F' themselves! or better yet take our 8000 tons of gold and put ourselves back on the gold sandard, forcing the price of gold to $50k oz and bankrupting amost every other country on earth while the US dollar becomes one of the only currencies in existance...

everybody bitches about the US interfering in other countries business but nobody else can/will do the job. our politicians have made some mistakes the last few years but not many folks complained when we interfered with hitler. when the next hitler comes along maybe we should just sit that one out until the rest of the "civilized" world begs us to help....then say "no thanks we would'nt want to interfere".. i've always wondered how folks that live in countries that have never taken a stand on anything could be so judgemental...

as far assange goes, i look at him as a reporter...the guy who gave him the info (or did'nt secure it well enough) should be hung, but assange did what a reporter would/should do..i think they're pointng fingers at the wrong guy. either the govt did'nt secure it's secrets well enough or someone with a clearance committed treason...assange has leaked info on most countries now so i dont see this as him targeting america..he's just exposing the truth, which in the end is a good thing.
