one of hugo's first moves when the flooding happened was to request "aid" from the chinese in the form of appliances (for folks that lost thier appliances in the flood)....my guess is that the chinese have a buttload of appliances they need to unload and hugo likes to give out free appliances during election time...

WTF do people that lost thier homes and dont have power to run a fridge need with appliances? it's not like they have any milk or meat to store anyway...i can see jaun asking his wife "where's da toaster mama?"..."it's in the second fridge papa"...
