The mayor of the municipality of El Callao, Orlenia Scipio, yesterday received an ambulance donated by the Governor of Bolivar State. At the ceremony Governor, Francisco Rangel Gomez, said that in conversations with the president of the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS), Carlos Rotondaro, is scheduled for the coming year the hospital recovering from that entity. He said also included in the 2011 budget "paving plan for 5 million Bs and recovery of the Agricultural Technical School located in El Callao."
Rains have not caused emergencies in Bolivar

Bolivar State Governor Francisco Rangel Gomez, said Friday that the rainfall of recent days have caused major damage in this state and that the levels of the Orinoco and Caroni rivers remain low, without risk of flooding, despite spillway of dams.

The governor reported that there are evicting families at risk because the situation is stable state is keeping the state of Bolivar safe from flooding because of rainfall. The Caroni River is still relieved through the Guri dam, and Macagua Caruachi. "The floodgates are fully open and that indicates that the level of Lake Guri, which otherwise is good news for Venezuela, is at its peak of 271 meters above sea level."
Rangel said in Bolivar state have been recorded 14 000 people living in the danger zone. "This census will be conducted this year for three opportunities and we all sites under present case of an emergency situation." He said preventive foods were stored for seven days to respond to these 14 000 people if they reached an emergency.
"We're not insisting that leaves no family in this time because the situation is completely stable in the areas of risk, even."
On the other hand, Jose Zamora, director of Civil Protection in the Caroni municipality, said Thursday's rains caused landslides in the gully Villa Peacock sector in which there are 12 families at risk, without causing damage housing or people. He noted that 30 homes Macagua Villa community, located on the road to El Pao, were slightly flooded by the blockage of waterways. Two Red Mountain homes in the area were damaged by the overflow of septic tanks, and in the afternoon yesterday had been reported in the community of Toro Muerto five families were less affected by the rains.
Donations to the victims
From the hangar of the Interior, in Ciudad Guayana, Rangel reported that there have been various public inputs for flood victims.
"In the first flight sent 15 000 kilograms of food, accompanied by an important batch of brand new mattresses." On Thursday he sent another batch of more than six tons of nonperishable food, water and other supplies, while donations continued to arrive Wednesday in basic industries, armed forces and other agencies.
"We want to express total solidarity with the peoples brothers, I have spoken personally with all the governors of the affected sites and are in contact to support from here in Bolívar state."
