Message: It's obvious that Vz. wants GRZ & KRY resolved together

I do not think it is obvious that these projects are to be combined to find a way to continue our project. Statements made to this effect by Venezuelan Governmental officials would have been made out of ignorance or later perhaps out of trying to derail both LB and LC projects, this conclusion may be supported by Ballengers earlier statement's indicating ther was no co-operation on Venezuela's part, hense his filing for arbitration. Look to all the companies that have filed arbitration there, as the terms presented by Venezuela were unfair and unreasonable.

There are so many groups with personal interests and rampant graft in Ven, it's hard to tell who is messing this all up. The independent miners, the union, the CVG, Minarven, Chavez, the red shirt faction, the army, the assorted ministers and departments of mining or interior etc, RML, VH, is it the bashers on the boards, is it the greedy capatalists in the west? What amazes me is how we can ignore these things and get from happily accepting a deal with CRRC and advancing this project to...... will Fung file for arbitration before the deadline elapses? as a topic of discussion.

But I am not wondering why. The proposed deal with CRRC has passed thru most if not all of the time lines originaly set. The last was the CRRC loan repayment which I beleve was due last week. Not one peep from anyone as to what is going on. Doing this deal in the fourth Q is fading fast, not one peep.

Based on this combined with a history of setbacks and no reported progress (except the proposed CRRC deal) since the enviromental issue was raised, I can understand how investors could become nervous about Fung and the KRY BOD missing the arbitration filing date and/or finding financing for it.

Other stuff:

You can't argue daily that funds are not bailing. It's hard to tell that until you see the filings that tell you this has already occured. But in defense of those who feel that the holdings are significant, the holding percentage has not changed for awhile.

Someone (I beleive InfoJ) posted that the short position has went up, 200K shares (not a lot) not really a tell, but unnerving that investors are willing to short here in the low .30's........ Maybe it's all just a game, someone trying to scare investors out.

I really want this to happen......... deal, buyout, mining with 1/3 ownership. I don't care! But as a last resort Arbitration still has to be an option, or there is no penalty to Ven for all the pain they have caused.

Arbitration does not mean the MOC is dead and could not occur under a different Venezuelan administration, but the ballyhoo and rederick of Chavez siezing LC instantly will be a reality. Maybe this is what the Chinese and KRY are waiting for- A change of leadership and also the reason why we are not moving forward without a solid gaurantee.

On a brite note there is some interest and volume today with price support, but at the same time you have to weigh the POG and it's affects on the stock.

Good luck to everyone. Most of this is my opinion based on what I can see and read. I hope that this deal happens for everyone's sake, and we do not have to go to arbitration, but I can't fathom KRY going by the Arbitation deadline without filing.
