Rusoro expected production in gold 20,000 ounces

Nov 23, 2010, 02: 14 AM | Rusoro Mining expects two deposits Venezuela gold production to be 20,000 ounces for October and November, said ruso-canadiense mining.

Rusoro Mining operates rich deposits of Bolivar State southeastern including gold mines Isidora and Choco 10, this last one of the most productive region.

At the end of October, Rusoro told Reuters that Venezuela would allow exporting gold at the beginning of November, which would give sufficient resources to raise its annual production to 600,000 ounces in two years, from the almost 100,000 ounces of this year.

The Government of President Hugo Chávez seeks to reduce its dependence on oil and approaching mining strategic as Russia and China, allies at the time that the local economy continues to fight the effects of the financial crisis
