When demand outstrips supply prices go up, n'est pas?

At one point the ratio of bid and ask was 10:1. Currently it is 5:1. Price of stock is going down. What gives? This Vz nobody trusts. It's become a cottage industry for Chavez and his friends. TSX should intervene somehow to stop this craziness.
