Fen, from what we know so far Hu Jintao is still scheduled to come to VZ. We know that somewhere along the line this deal has to go through many channels of the Chinese gov't for approval, where that is now nobody knows. Jintao has to be aware of it at some point.

If this is approved on the Chinese side one would think Jintao would be expecting something from this when he arrives to VZ (when announced).

By the way Chavez originally planned his trip starting Oct 11 and China was on the agenda. Jintao said he could not meet that schedule due to other conflicts. I did find that on Oct 12 Jintao was kicking off the 16th annual Asian games in Beijing.
