Teut, yes that may be the case. It is interesting that this article originally from AVN the official VZ Gov't news site is also now on the official Mibam site. I guess since the shareholders can't communicate with the gov't our only way of finding out what is going in VZ is through the official gov't websites and not your basic press coverage or KRY themselves.

With that said this thing about nationalization is an age old agruement with KRY as LC is already owned by the gov't through the ownership of the concessions.

One statement stands out "these mineral resources are for the Venezuelans, not transnational". Well I don't believe KRY has ever thought they would keep the gold for themselves.
