China and Venezuela are moving in development projects
The Asian delegation met with senior officials of the Bolivarian Government to apply a set of companies in the procurement process for projects in the areas of Agriculture and Lands, Basic Industries and Mining and Power

Executives and representatives of 20 Chinese state companies are visiting our country to participate in the "Days of meetings on agriculture, mining and electricity between the People's Republic of China and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela."

The opening of this conference was held in the auditorium of the Ministry of Popular Power for Planning and Finance (MPPPF) Monday October 11, in the negotiations of the projects to be financed by the Fund for Large Volume Long Term two nations signed the April 17, 2010 for a total of 20 billion dollars in its first stage.

The Asian delegation, headed by Jiang Zhigang, Deputy Executive Director of China Development Bank, met with senior officials of the Bolivarian Government to apply a set of companies in the procurement process for projects in the areas of Agriculture and Lands Basic Industries and Mining and Power.

After this initial meeting, the representatives of these companies and the authorities concerned made assessment visits in areas where works are constructed in order to ascertain the situation in which each project will be developed.

Edmee Betancourt, president of Bank of Economic and Social Development of Venezuela (Bandes) reported that negotiations are at a stage of analysis which reviewed 21 projects of strategic importance for national development, among which 10 for the strengthening of sector agriculture.

Zhigang Jiang stressed that the China Development Bank convened over 20 state-owned enterprises China's highly qualified and with extensive experience in implementing large-scale works around the world, hoping to make its experience in developing these projects.

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Planning and Finance (MPPPF) jointly with the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Venezuela in China, the China Development Bank and the Bank of Economic and Social Development Venezuela (Bandes)
