Don't confuse china with Japan as far as technology goes, they're in the backwoods.Did you know the kill around 6000 miners every year coal mining, these aren't mining experts we're dealing with. There's just a lot of them....................

The only thing china has in the backwoods are concerns over worker rights - we have osha - they have "oh shut up" as pointed out with respect to workers - they have a lot of them. Think expendable.

Our (thank God for miracles) partner doesn’t not need our VZ political savvy (obviously we don't have any or we would all be in Tahiti right now) and they are more then capable of digging the hole in the ground. If worse comes to worse they could ship boatloads of workers to LC to hand carry the ore out of the pit.

I hope and pray that we get just compensation for a long well fought fight but to indulge in wild eyed speculation about how indispensable we are, on this and every other mining project ever considered in VZ, to our giant over funded long view partner who saved our ass out of expediency is frothy optimism. We are lucky to be riding on coat tails (think expendable) and not wishing on stars. imho
