President Chavez will travel to Russia for forming Russian-Venezuelan bank
Caracas, October 8 AVN .- The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frías, announced his visit, on Tuesday, Russia to sign a set of bilateral cooperation agreements.

The announcement was made Friday during the inauguration of the Bolivarian Ecological Liceo Simón Rodríguez, Fort Tiuna, located south of Caracas. The president said that the agenda stresses the signing of a document for the creation of binational Russian-Venezuelan bank.

Chávez has stated that prior telephone conversations with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

"We were checking the agreements signed during the visit. We're headed for our independence," said the President.

This trip to Russia, is part of a tour that includes other countries such as Belarus, China and Iran.

Chavez is also planned to visit Belarus to further advance scientific agreements, technological.

In March, the national president signed, along with his counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, in Caracas, a series of energy agreements to strengthen the strategic alliance between both nations.

Moreover, with China, Venezuela has a series of cooperation agreements, lines of credit for development projects and a fund set at 12 billion dollars.

This Friday, the Venezuelan head of state secondary area opened the Bolivarian National Environmental Education Unit Simón Rodríguez, located at Fort Tiuna, south of Caracas.

This new space, annex the area of elementary education, will serve 380 children, freshmen and sophomore year, nearby communities, The Maya, Coche and El Valle.
