Cividale, I don't think it is hard to explain the it all. As already noted the comments you mention from Hugo about the Russians mining LC come from late 2008 and repeated in early 2009.
As makin pointed out, the slide presentation says:
September 2009 -
Senior member of China Railway visits President Chávez to inquire if the Government of Venezuela deems China Railway an acceptable partner in the Las Cristinas project
From the time Hugo said the Russian were mining to when the Chinese visited Hugo in Sept. was 8 months. In those 8 months Hugo found out he couldn't bully Kry into a bad deal with the Russians. During those 8 months Kry turned the tables on Hugo by making a deal with the Chinese. When the Chinese went to see Hugo in Sept. 2009 for approval to pursue LC and Kry Hugo had 2 options. Say yes he would love the Chinese involved in LC or no he didn't want to business with China.
I think we all know the answer and why we are close to closing the deal to mine LC with China as our partner. I think it is also the reason that RML went from .60 in Jan. 2009 to it's current price of .20
If I remember correctly Aggie's dad sold a boat load of shares in the .50-.60 price range. I guess he was very lucky with his timing or maybe knew Rml wasn't getting LC.

OK makinmoola2, I agree that KRY is not lying about these meetings between the Chinese and Hugo, or the Chinese and Hugo's cronies. KRY would be in too much trouble for lying about meetings that never happened between Chavez and the Chinese.
Unfortunately those meetings don't jive with the fact that at the same time China was having these meetings..... Chavez was telling the world that the Russians are going to mine Las Cristinas.
Can you please explain the existence of these two opposing realities?
