I googled this just to see what I could find. The festival occurs on the night of 9/22 which is not their holiday. 9/23 is their actual holiday and everything closes so they can sleep in and recover (must be one helluva festival LOL). As far as I can see, this equals one day off from work. One. It's already early morning 9/22 there so this commences early tomorrow morning EDT our time. Hardly should be floated as an excuse for nothing getting done.
