Volume is dismal today, on both ends...IMO, I consider this a low volume day with little or no interest. Yesterday Amex was close to 500,000 at the close, and 120,000 went through at .40 at the open. TSX wasn't far behind...Although compared to 7million or better in a day which happens occasionally, IMO 4-5 hundred grand per session isn't low volume chump change...my definition of low volume is when the MM gets bored and starts playing stoplight games with the bid/ask to create red/green flashing back and forth in the watch list just to draw attention. Time to pull some downed pitch pine off my property and start stacking it up for winter...to hell with the stoplight!
