They demand to meet with vice-president Elías Jaua

More of a hundred of workers they closed the Liberating avenue of the bolivarense capital in order to make hear his reclamations. They indicate that for four years they wait for the fulfillment of the debt on the part of the State, besides a series of commitments proposed within the framework of the mining reconversion like: socioproductivos house, use, credits and special pensions.

“This is a measurement of protest due to the breach of minister Alexander Hitcher to cancel the anticipated money of the mining reconversion. The auriferous workers take to several months doing presence before the Ministry of the Atmosphere in City Bolivar”, indicated Alfredo representing Villanueva of the union.

What they ask
The miners clarify that they do not want to work the small mining, only want that the debts acquired by the S-state are fulfilled. They criticize the attitude assumed by some workers of the Pebble who continue operating deposits without repairing in the great damage that this cause to the ecosystem.

Villanueva emphasized that they are tired to meet with ministers, and to realise meetings of all type without listening to a forceful answer.

It stressed that the Mibam has acted of corrupt way from the 2006, for that reason will not stop in his protests until its money is not cancelled to them.

Governor or vice-president
Villanueva hopes to meet with the governor of the state Bolivar, Francisco Rangel Go'mez, whom according to it had affirmed that already it had put myself in contact with Elías Jaua to carry out the meeting, but did not speak yesterday of an exact date. “For that they are there, to cause that the laws are fulfilled, reason why we will be in fight by our money”, emphasized Villanueva.

It made clear that they will not move of the ministry until regional Head of State makes formal appearance.

One feels deceived by the authorities when they of voluntary way had become attached themselves to the mining reconversion. People with needs are not “guarimberos” but that fulfilled their part of the contract without receiving the same repayment. They indicated that they do not defend any political party nor they look for to create of this problem a “mediatic show”.
