I first came to this board about 2 months ago. I found it interesting, relevant, and stimulating. I have also found a few new and delightful friends.

But the last several weeks have been appalling! The name calling and general invective would be shameful to middle school children. STOP IT! You are all so much better than this.

We are all in the same boat, though in very different and varied circumstances, and there is NOTHING to be gained by bickering and insulting each other. I know this situation is painful,and perhaps even critical for some, but this recent behavior is in no way helpful or productive.

As a very senior person, I beg all of you to take a deep breath. and a short break, during which we all remember our manners, and acknowledge that we all are under pressure and need patience and calmness, not invective. There is no such thing as 'even', only another nasty round, so stop trying to 'get' it, please. Just forget it and start over.

Be kind, be patient, and hopefully we can all enjoy an upcoming success.
