Miners will be received by Minister of Environment

Ciudad Bolívar .- For the first day of September was scheduled meeting between a committee of the miners in Bolivar State of the Environment and Minister Alejandro Hitcher, so Alfredo Villanueva said Wednesday after the holding of a peaceful takeover of the spaces of this institution in the state, which was required by the granting of permits required to start mining activities in the areas allowed supervised by national authorities.

Alfredo Villanueva said that the peaceful takeover was done in order to ask the Minister Alejandro Hitcher, not just answers about his refusal to grant environmental permits required for the initiation of mining activities in the areas allowed and duly announced by other representatives of the national executive and its incorporation into working groups set up jointly with the Mibam, in order to find solutions to the problems generated final in the sector after the implementation of the conversion and Caura Plan.

So it was until the afternoon when it received a proposal from the official, who agreed to receive a commission of 15 people the first day of September in his office in Caracas, said a meeting expect favorable results and held that the refusal is affecting a total of 15,000 miners to tackling the supervised practice, would contribute to the development of the entity.
