I believe that the deal as it stands should be rejected. There is ample value in LC to support a much more generous deal from the Chinese.

But I doubt that it will happen. I honestly believe that Fung etc. are in this only for their own pockets and they will push hard to get the deal finalized as long as it benefits them.

Maybe there are some institutional holders who feel the same way I do. I really don't know.
