i hate to get excited about anything in ven (especially when it's badly translated) but..

they are starting phase II of the caura plan which will shut down the illegals in sifontes/pebble/calleo...there were also hints that phase 2 would begin planning for "alternative uses"

now they are creating a central bank office for the purpose of establishing gold certification and regulation...

you have to wonder why (in the LC area) they would shut down the illegals and wipe out illegal gold production and at the same time create a government office that has never existed thru the BCV to regulate/certify gold....

it sounds to me like they are preparing to start up some new gold production on a larger scale than has occured previously....maybe to start up LC, with a few co-ops thrown in...
