Miners with fear by evacuations when applying Phase II of the Caura Plan
Abel Perroni, mining leader and candidate to deputy by the National Assembly by circuit 3 indicated the high preoccupation of the communities of Sifontes, 88 Kilometer and the Claritas before the beginning of the second phase of the Caura Plan and the presence of a group of the military from Thursday in these zones.
It informed that the mining leader William Padilla summoned to a general meeting east Friday in the sleeve of I fishtail of Tumeremo the members of the mining cooperatives, from the 2005. In his speech it indicates that the Venezuelan State has not been organized to take care of them, and this has caused to a growth of unemployment using like example the Levee of the Paragua, “area that now seems the desert”
It accuses that they are more than 60 thousand miners of 126 mining communities, that practice the mining for 150 years and because of these measures they remained without use.
In his opinion, if the Government generated uses, homeless people, mothers did not exist and family parents that lost their equipment during first stage of the Caura plan, Perroni glimpses a social outbreak.
They demand information from the General Major Henry Rangel Silva, head of the Strategic Region of Defensa Integral (REDI) Guayana, so that one meets with them, take care of to them with urgency although the time is being cut in which they must evacuate the occupied areas completely illegally.
It argues that they are being organized more than 40 thousand miners to take actions that draw attention towards the South zone, because before the imminent evacuation they do not see options of economic development for the communities.
“It can be a march of the south of the state Bolivar, we will defend our right to the work, are pisatarios of the zone, we can demonstrate that we are organized, we are more than 40 cooperatives”.
They are arranged to receive the support of the state, but the past Wednesday did not go any representative to explain the plans to them of the Mibam.
