The Caura Plan, activated in last April, has eliminated of forceful way the illegal mining in the belt of the right strip of the Orinoco, to the south of Venezuela. Thus it honored the vice-minister of Environmental Conservation of the Ministry of the Popular Power for the Atmosphere (Minamb), Jesus Alexander Cegarra. It indicated that the referred illicit activity is a phenomenon associated to the financing of transnational companies for the handling of gold and makes shine like diamonds. Equally, it indicated that the people who dedicated themselves to this activity were directed and financed by great transnational companies. |
