Excellent post Jimmi, much appreciated. You make a good analysis in general of this thing. Though I would be hesitant to put Canada in the realm of risk Vz harbours, yes there are certain instances where politics in Canada/US takes on the cause as you mention. Hugo though screws everybody everywhere in ways that boggles the mind and that type of system we are familiar with down there is a whole other category imo.

Chavez will and is running out of options and I hope things turn for the good, but we all know what he is capable of and unless he gets the boot our turn behind the wood shed isn't over. Sure we may see a deal go down and things get moving along, but like Boss kent said Hugo changes his mind every other day. So how does one do any sort of planning around that, expecting any sort of long term ceretainty except to trade on opportunity. Vz future is thick fog at this point.
