I think that the three reasons we have always been low, are 1) the history behind Crystallex

2) the permit of course, and three would be the price paid for gold mined.

The first reason is all but negated, once the JV is actually signed. There is no way that anyone could doubt our partner. The biggest construction company in the world? Chinese caution in getting involved with any venture?

The second reason follows on the footsteps of the first. The Chinese just would not ink a deal without being 99% sure it can go ahead.

The third reason is being worked on as we speak, by Rusoro, their workers and union, Khan and other VZ officials, the Chinese, and maybe a few consulars and embassy officials. Again, the Chinese would not go into this without full confidence that the new JV will get fair price for it's gold.

This last reason is not so important to have worked out in the near future, as we will not have any gold to sell, for as long as two years. That gives the Chinese lots of time to nail down a favourable price for the eventual gold, and they'll likely have much more leverage in the future. Like dragging their feet in the construction of the railroad? Losing paperwork concerning their loan dollars?

I'm confident that that will not be necessary. Chavez REALLY wants his gold to be mined.
