I thought that too, but short interest as of 6/15 is only 4 million shares and the only really big voume days would have been captured in that report. I don't think we have had 10 million shares traded total in all the days combined since then. I guess however if most buyers are waiting then most of this could be shares sold short, but I'd have expected more volume if shorting prior to the offering was the top strategy.
I'd just rather not see the deal terms changed to a lower price at the closing if that is even possible.
Still, I'd expect some kind of an effort to "pop" the price after the deal so they can unload all those shares.
