retflash, I agree with you, and I have always remembered that relationship between Robert Fung, his god son, and Li Ka Shing. I have no doubt whatsoever that many glass's of wine have been shared by these people, around a table, discussing Crystallex. With the money that is controlled by just those three people, I doubt that we were ever in any real jeproady of going bankrupt. All we needed was the political influence...we have that now. And I'm sure that the friends of the above are loading up on KRY shares.....I wonder if the new JV company will one day be a listed company?
Ya know all this 'glass half full/half empty' stuff? Well, I believe that to be a reflection of the individual's life outlook......going thro' life generally negative about anything not completely known, or being positive about life, doing what you can to affect a positive influence on events and people around you. There is ALWAYS something positive to see in any situation. It just depends on what kind of thoughts one wants to have, following them around all day.
Compared to what has been happening in the last couple years, how anyone could decidedly be outwardly negative now, is beyond me. Nobody here is saying this is a perfect deal. I would have LOVED to wake up one morning and hear that Crystallex had been given the final permit. Nobody is saying that there isn't some small possibility that this deal could fall through. But we are all grown-ups, and are fully aware that this isn't 'a done deal', till it is. We've heard all the negative possibilities, up the yin yang......There is nothing new to worry about, so why not sit back, have your favorite drink, and just look forward to the fact that, there is a better than even chance, this deal will go through. If it doesn't, well then, you'll have the right to gloat.
