I agree that Sanz is likely talking about their production of gold from mines recovered from KRY and others.

It was also interesting that he noted the new mode of operation with China and Russia (mentioned in that order -- China first).

The rest of the article is clearly Sanz trying to say "mang, I didn't steal no money" -- we'll see how that goes. :)
