It's a possiblity that it could be one of Fungs buddies but then Kry would be lying.

I think they made it pretty clear that the 2.5 million was from a potential strategic investor. To the best of my knowledge this would be a serious investor that wants to be part of the LC project. Further information from Kry and Fung said the strategic investor that they want is someone with financial and political clout to help move LC forward. Could it be a buddy of Fung? Yes but it would have tp be a major player not a banker. There aren't many players who have the political clout to deal with Hugo.

If the 2.5 million loan is from the same entity that Kry wants as a strategic investor with political clout they wouldn't be in for a short gain.
