The stock was already being sold off into the afternoon trade when the BP news hit about criminal and civil investigations by Attorney General Eric Holder. I would agree with those who think there was a continuation of the selloff from the TO. Monday afternoon. We lately have been going up while everything was tanking though, and over .8 Cdn is pretty lofty heights looking at the recent performance and still no news- only speculative thinking. Had I had Canadian Kry yesterday I would have departed with some, hey guys just look at the pattern. If this continues you could definitly sell some and buy back in a few days. We might have even recovered some today had it not been for the end of day news, too much bad news on top of weak Asia and European markets and woes over Spain etc. Gold is continuing back higher and this is the driver as far as I am concerned for long term valuation, and short term it is the secret investor, permit and the Chineese involvement speculation. Now since the approx. 5M secret investor shares are now in play, someone else selling along with a simultaniously released Bulgarian stock report might have been intended to start a panic sell that did not really materialize? I will wait and see IMO we do not go down much more before a rebound. I also would be weary of "new" posters even though I welcome them all to Agoracom. Where is CJR? I need a joke buddy! We watched this stock every day for years and there has been collecting going on of late while suppression of the price was occuring. Then it seems like there are spikes where someone says "AW Fahrquart!" And then buys a bunch when they see the ask holds lots of shares close just above the current price. It has been subtile but you can see it if you are watching. I think we have seen a opportunistic shakeout today but If you sold in the .60's AMEX or .80 Canadien to buy back, congrats. Good luck to everyone and it is a crapshoot, like GW says. HB
