at least 3 good articles in the "municipalities of the south" section regarding gold mining (especially in favor of rusoro, and transnational investors in general)...

the el correa article was the first i've seen that showed support for the BCV law.

the bolivar state is pretty upset. it looks like if rusoro closes shop the locals think they are totally screwed..no legal mining, no illegal mining.
