AN Joint Committee investigating the illegal mining in Bolivar

A group of deputies of the National Assembly starts from this Friday until Sunday 23 May, a visit to Bolivar state to investigate the problem that is showing up with illegal mining in the federal entity
Eighteen members belonging to various standing committees of the National Assembly shall endeavor to corroborate so face the allegations made in this direction and will leave this Friday May 21 at Puerto Ordaz, to start working sessions for the purpose of addressing the problem with a view to deploy in the short term future actions that may take place with relevant bodies to address this problem.
The 18 deputies in charge of this research belong to the standing committees of the Environment, Interior Policy, Defense, Integrated Social Development and Economic Development of the Venezuelan Parliament.
The program includes activities for this Friday's exhibition Caura Plan by General Henry Rangel Silva, head of the Strategic Defense Region Integral Guayana, to be held in Conference Room C. Campo Ferrominera
Next, the intervention of the Governor of Bolivar State, General Francisco Rangel Gomez, who explained to the parliament regarding this issue and then carry out the exhibition of the plans and operations of the various ministries involved in the Caura Plan regarding this particular.
On Saturday, the mission of parliamentarians will arrive in Canaima and the Caura River Basin, where to spend the night, and Sunday 23 out of the Caroni Basin to return to Caracas from Canaima.
The activity is coordinated by the Standing Committee on Environment of the National Assembly, led by deputy Manuel Briceño, in coordination with the Operational Strategic Command Strategic Integral Guayana Region of the Ministry of Defense.
