Canadian miner Crystallex seeks alternatives to retake the Las Cristinas
project, which was excluded by decision of the Venezuelan authorities. In a
statement the firm said that the initiation of large-scale operations would
benefit the company, the country, the environment, shareholders, communities and
workers. Failure to achieve a negotiated settlement, says he is willing to
resort to international arbitration.
