I rarely read much of this kind of thing, but a few comments re: the jump incompensation, from posters, tweeked my interest. What I took away from reading most of the $$ details conscerning compensation is this..

Something changed at some point in late 2008. ( I'm not going to spend the time researching that). Something gave Fung and the rest a very real sense that there was REAL light at the end of the tunnel. I think more was asked from each of the management, and the directors. I believe that this compensation package was put in place then, to get ready for now,and to prepare for a very favourable outcome. Hence a compensation package that gave all the priciples great rewards for hanging in. Lets be clear....all these folks are not their to work for a wage. They are in a way much like us....hoping that a very dicey situation will work out very well indeed, and that they will profit handsomely from their faith, hard work, and trust in the man at the helm.( Despite Chavez and the naysayers)

After reading that report, and seeing all the unexercised options from way back, and seeing their expirey date, I got the clear impression that KRY is going to be around for a long time. I also got the impression that we are going well beyond a paltry $3-$4 a share, and that KRY's sights are still on what we originally were looking at....upwards of $20 and beyond.

What we see taking place in VZ right now, with VZ's real focus on everything mineral, but especially gold....and the major involvement of the Chinese, to seriously get it going, has me feeling like there IS a change taking place. I believe that the Chinese will have a major role for decades in the resource business in VZ. In Gold, they will be the driving force. they have.......the needs, the drive, the ambitions, the money, the business sense, the technical expertise, and most importantly, the same ideological and political bent. KRY has all of those too, minus money and the ideological and political bent. What a team!!

We are seeing the beginning, I believe, of an influence in the economics of VZ, that will go well beyond anything Russian or Cuban.....

The Chinese recognize a prize when they see it. A welcoming Leader, fruit trees galor, and to top it off.....the golden apple ( I like that better than the golden egg :) )

I guess I have to follow that with ....JMHO....:)
