Frank Ricardo is the captain of the community of Parkupik who explained that lamentably they have had to assimilate the mining culture by absence of the State because is a separated community of all the services, in addition are clear of the damage to the environment but without these economic entrances the community does not seem to have future.

Pedro Clauteaux, tropical medicine specialist, explained that the work is complicated and the conditions are lent so that is not improvement in the patients because they do not receive constant attention.

Also it defended the mining workers of the accusations of diverse governmental beings. “The majority of the miners is good people, clear that there are swindlers but they are not all, I do not plead for the mining but for the human beings who lived on that office and helped the indigenous communities that have progressed thanks to the money of the mining” concluded.
