I didn't realize that there were so many other 'Western' companies having gold properties in VZ. Are these still concessions? I assume so, as they are from several years ago. It seems like the Ministry of Enviroment is still negotiating with companies that have concessions. I am assumming that one of the points would be to make them into Joint Ventures.

The fact that there are western companies owning and working on gold properties, tells me that VZ is indicating that they are not trying to get all the 'Western Capitalist' companies out of VZ. My impression over the last couple of years, has been that if you are a gold mining company from a Western country, forget about mining in Venezuela.

That doesn't seem to be the case.
