A coherent plan for the rescue of the basic companies and the crystallization of investments is the main requests to new minister of Basic Industries and Minería, Jose Salamat Khan, of Fedecámaras Bolivar and the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of the Caroní municipality.

The president of the maximum enterprise cupola, Guido Fratini, showed that they understand the great effervescence in the labor branch after the appointment of the new minister; but he maintained that it is necessary that is prioritized and is created a plan of rescue of the basic companies and a program that integrates the necessary maintenances, extensions of the state ones as the V Line of Alcasa and I SAW Line of Venalum, and technological adjustment in the industries of the iron, aluminum and the steel.

Also, he considered vital that makes agile the payment by served to the small and medians companies, whose debt surpasses the 1,000 million dollars, in agreement with the calculations of the unions of industrialists.

“We waited for an investment plan because the prices of the raw materials have been recovered and we are arranged to participate because the basic companies are the life of the region”, it said.

He maintained, in addition, that the productive deterioration of the basic companies worsened by the electrical cut has harmed to the manufacturers of spare parts and other pieces that require steel or aluminum. “In all the country there is preoccupation by the shortage of steel consumptions and aluminum”, asserted.

Fratini indicated that they wait for tender bridges of dialogue and interchange of aid with the new office, conscious that “the basic companies are a fundamental motor of the regional economy”.

Resource allocation
The president of Camcaroní, Héctor Cardozo, asked for the resource allocation for Guayana, with the intention of overcoming the critical situation that lives the basic companies “and his problems of technological adjustment and agravated management by the electrical crisis”.

The enterprise leaders made a formal request for a meeting with minister Khan, and wait for answer of the same.

“The industrial park of Guayana is well important for the country and is necessary to rescue the markets to take it to optimal levels and we are prepared to participate”, maintained the president of Fedecámaras, Guido Fratini.

Economic diversification

“It is not necessary to lose of view the Guayana project”, said president of Fedecámaras Bolivar, Guido Fratini, when standing out because the region like pole was born from industrial development.

It maintained that besides rescuing the existing companies, he is vital to disertar on the necessary diversification of the regional economy, including in dynamics to sectors keys like the tourism and the transformer of the operated raw materials in the region.
