I have noticed that some of the people that are in higher positions in the Venezuelan Government have names that are foregin. One would have to assume there was no real "modern" language in Venezuela until the Spanish, Portuguese and other nationalities started exploring South America 500 years ago. A more recent example of this phenom is that many Argentinians have German names but dont really look German.

So, as far as Kahn being Chinese this seems to be a stretch. For our purposes: If he spoke Chinese this is good and it really would not matter if he was Chinese or not. But, since there are 15 different Chinese languages, saying you speak Chinese can be misleading. At the same time english slang refering to someone who is speaking Chinese means that they are speaking gibberish. One of the things I have noticed is that the Venezuelans in general have problems communicating with themselves and the gibberish factor there would be considered high by most peoples standards.

My definition. If he has the dragons burnt on the inside of his forearms (like David Caradine in KUNG FU) he's Chinese.
