The remark did on Tuesday the Minister of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining, José Khan, told The News, Venezolana de Television, from the state of Bolivar.

"Until now, we all know that Venezuela is a country that depends on a rentier economy, are determined by the vagaries of oil prices, so it is necessary to quickly get a diversification of our economy," said the proprietor.

He stressed that the only way for a strengthening core business is again with workers' control, with the new integrated management model, and, above all, conscious of the need to create down industries that give added value to products.
