Mibam and CVG in the hands of Khan José Fernández

The Presidency of the Republic appointed the citizen José Fernández Salamat Khan as the new Minister of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining (Mibam), for the purpose of regulating, monitoring and will make the planning of the activities of the National Executive in this area.
Decree No. 7347 published in the Official Gazette N º 39,396, of Date 05 de April 2010, further provides that the new official should support the promotion and development of productive chains of goods and services intended to substitute imports and meet the needs of domestic consumption, investment planning and implementing recovery, conversion and creation of basic industries and mining are needed to boost national development.
In addition, Khan must ensure the supply of raw materials and industrial inputs to production chains establish programs consistent with the needs and possibilities of cooperatives, micro, small and medium enterprises, promoting foreign investment in the field of basic industries and mining , among other functions.
Also, Jose Fernandez Salamat Khan was appointed acting president of the Corporacion Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), in order to study and inventory the resources of the Area Development of Guyana and those outside it, where the characteristics of programs require development.
